31. Pen y Fan from Llangorse Lake
Sheltered in the lee of the Black Mountains, Llangorse is a lake where history and myth run deep. Its reconstructed crannog, or manmade island stronghold, marks the site of a 10th century palace, close to the waters edge. The lakeshore is a picturesque place to stop and admire the highest peaks in southern Britain.
32. Sugar Loaf from Blorenge
The hike up Blorenge from Abergavenny is steep, but worth it. The heatherstrewn plateau at the top, a Site of Special Scientific Interest, offers splendid views across the Usk Valley to Sugar Loaf, the southern most peak in the Black Mountains, with theMonmouthshire and Brecon Canalsnaking along below.
33. Carreg Cennen Castle from Trapp
Explore the lanes around theCarmarthenshirehamlet of Trapp, and gaps in the hedgerows reveal glimpses of the enigmatic ruins ofCarreg Cennen, on the edge of the Black Mountain Range. Immortalised by Turner in a swirl of stormy watercolour thats now in Tate Britain, its one of Wales most romantic views.

Mount Parnitha is a densely forested mountain range north of Athens, the highest on the peninsula of Attica, with an elevation of 1,413 m, and a summit known as Karavola.
35. Falakro mountain
Falakro Oros is a mountain in the Drama regional unit, eastern Greek Macedonia, northern Greece. The elevation of its highest summit, Profitis Ilias, is 2232 meters above the sea level. There is a ski resort on the mountain.

37. Mitsikeli mountain
Mitsikeli mountain is the one extending behind Ioannina city. It has entered Natura 2000 network and has an organized shelter. The mountain is ideal for mountaineering (the international pathway E6 and the national pathway O3 pass through the area).
38. Paggaio mountain
Paggaio mountain is located at the western part of Kavala prefecture (on the route Kavala Eleftheroupoli Nikisiani). It is a lush green mountain with chestnut, pine, oak and beech trees. You will also find three mountain lodges: the first one in Kalithea, the second one named Petalouda or Vlachika Kalyvia and the one of Chatzigeorgiou. At an altitude of 1,956 m there is a ski resort with a spacious ski slope. At a lower level of the mountain visitors will come across the Paggaio Forest Village, where they can find accommodation and restaurants.
39. Kroussia
Kroussia is s small mountain chain and its higher top is 1200 m high Mavrovouni which begins vertically from Kerkini (Belles) mountain and in its southwest side it separates the large valley of Serres from the fields of Kilkis. It is a natural boarder between the two Prefectures (Prefecture of Serres and Kilkis). On this mountain chain people can visit Gallikos river springs.

It is the largest mountainous village of the district of Trikala and the most touristic of them all.
