Gandhi Jayanti Jokes

Gandhi Jayanti is one of the three national holidays observed by India. The holiday marks the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, also known as Gandhi or Father of the Nation. Gandhi was born on 2nd October, 1869 as Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. On 15th June 2007, the United Nations General Assembly declared 2nd October as the International Day of NonViolence. To honor this day, no liquor is either sold or consumed. Prayers are held in Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, which are attended by the President, Prime Minister and others to pay homage to him. These days, jokes are commonly created and passed on to everyone to spread the teachings of Gandhi.
