7. Chateau de la Resle
The Dutch duo behind Chateau de la Resle (a sixroom Design Hotels member in Burgundy) have made a point of featuring work from contemporary artists and designers since they opened their French manor house to guests in 2010.
Now theyve gone one step further and launched their own design label, named after the hotel and featuring some of the pieces found there, such as porcelain tableware from De Intu
8. Kimpton Hotels
The 50odd boutique properties that make up Kimpton Hotels like to do things a bit differently. So it should come as no surprise to find that instead of the standard white robes in their rooms, they have funky animal print numbers (leopard, zebra and giraffe).
Theyre one of the most popular buys ($90) from the Kimpton Style online shop, but youll also find lots of other products on offer, from the fun (hula hoops, faux fur throws and zebra lounge socks) to the functional (beds, bikes and bags) $ and whatever you buy, a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to charity.

10. Finca Cortesin
Everything about Finca Cortesin is just right, declared one magazine reviewer $ and clearly many others agree, because since it opened in 2008 this fivestar Andalusian resort has been fielding queries from guests keen to recreate its look at home. Luckily, theyre happy to help and you can buy pretty much any of the furniture or accessories you see in your room or around the hotel, with the cushions and bed throws (from$1,200) proving particularly popular.
